Trosky Florida National Competition Program

Tournament Philosophy

Quality over quantity.

The goal is not to play the most tournaments. The goal is to play the right tournaments.

Development First

Trosky Weekends remain protected parts of every schedule. They provide dedicated time for development, evaluation, recovery, testing and preparation.

Major Events Matter

The schedule prioritizes strong Perfect Game and WWBA competition, especially major events in Florida, Georgia, Hoover and the Boston/New England market.

Smart National Travel

Out-of-state travel is intentionally limited. Whenever possible, each team makes only one trip to an out-of-state destination while Florida events fill the remainder of the schedule.

Age-Appropriate Progression

Younger teams build experience through strong regional and national competition. Older teams progressively receive more national-level competition and exposure.

Meaningful Exposure

Tournament selection is based on competitive value, player development and appropriate exposure — not simply the number of weekends played.

Florida is home. The opportunity is national.
